Honoring My Grandmother and the Continued Journey of Family and Mission

Dear Friends and Supporters,

I greet you all in the love and peace of Christ. I am writing to share a personal testimony and a note of gratitude, both as a missionary and as a member of a family deeply rooted in history, love, and strength.

During my time in Congo, I have had the unique and humbling privilege of spending meaningful time with my great-grandmother—an incredible woman whose strength, wisdom, and quiet guidance have made a profound impact on me. She has not only supported me emotionally but has also taken the time to teach me about the history of our family and our homeland. Through her stories, I have gained deeper insight into the legacy of my grandfather and the spiritual and cultural identity that shapes who I am.

It is a personal joy that I got married during a time when she could witness this important milestone in my life. This moment serves as a reminder of God’s perfect timing and the value of honoring the generations before us.

I also want to express my sincere thanks to my entire family and extended relatives. The journey we are on together—through faith, through shared responsibility, and through our collective calling—is one of unity and growth. As a family, we continue to build, support, and uplift one another.

I believe now more than ever that the youth in our family, including myself, are ready to rise and make a difference. We are stepping into a new season—carrying with us the lessons of our elders, the strength of our roots, and a desire to create lasting change.

Let us never forget to appreciate the quiet yet powerful support our elders provide—both directly and indirectly. Their sacrifices, prayers, and presence have shaped our path.

Thank you once again for your continued support of my journey as a missionary. I carry these family values with me into every community I serve, and I pray they reflect Christ’s love and purpose in all that I do.
