Yesterday, I had a wonderful time with the young men and women from the community of Sophiatown. As many of you know, Sophiatown is currently facing serious challenges, including widespread gangsterism and frequent violence. However, since the beginning of 2024, we’ve been journeying closely with the young people in the area, and by God’s grace, we’ve seen His hand at work in their lives.
The youth were joyful and excited to reconnect. We had meaningful conversations about ministry, upcoming camps, and Bible studies. It’s truly inspiring to witness the hunger and hope growing among them as they look forward to what God has in store for their community.
There is a great need in Sophiatown. I am walking closely with many of the young men in the area, mentoring them and helping them stay on a positive path. We hold Bible studies and other impactful gatherings at Granny Judy’s house, which has become a vital space for ministry.
This is a missionary update from the field. If you feel led to support this mission—whether through prayer, partnership, or practical support—please feel free to get in touch with me directly.
With hope,
Missionary Enoch
